Tick Prevention Webinar - Cultivating reliable outdoor safety awareness
90-minute Webinar
If you love going out into fields and forests and want to make sure you keep the risk of exposing yourself to tick bites and therefore Lyme disease as low as possible, this webinar is for you.
This 65 minutes long webinar is the product of many years of personal experience and research. I live in a yurt in the woods and I also work in woodlands as a land-worker, forest school facilitator and nature-inspired artist. I had Lyme disease in 2013 and spent three months in my bed, not knowing if I would recover or not.
Since then I have done a lot of research and gathered valuable know-how, to make sure I can continue spending the majority of my time in Nature, whilst managing the risk of being bitten by ticks.
I feel passionate about passing on this crucial information and awareness skills, to make sure you can be connecting with Nature whilst keeping yourself and others safe.
During a visually beautifully designed presentation, you will learn:
- When and where ticks are likely to be present.
- How to protect yourself from being bitten.
- What to do if you find a tick on you or get bitten.
- How to recognise the early symptoms of Lyme disease.
